London Transport Museum - again

Today we spent the day at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. Sam loves it there, it's his favourite transport museum in Covent Garden.

We walked to Pinner, hopped onto a Metropolitan line to Baker Street, the changed (stairs and escalator) to the Bakerloo line where we got a train to Piccadilly Circus where we changed again (stairs) to the Piccadilly line and we got out at Covent Garden (lift).

We got to the museum at about 11:00am and spent nearly three and a half hours there altogether. Most of that time was spent playing with the traffic lights (see below) or the exhibit showing the different tube train stock over the ages. That exhibit had buttons which made the tube train models move out and back in to their home.

... 23 minutes later...

Unfortunately there was no display of train doors opening and closing. If there was we would probably still be there now!

We took the scenic route home - Piccadilly line all the way from Covent Garden to Rayners Lane and then home (via the watermelon shop, naturally).

What a wonderful day out it seems to have been and it is wonderful for far away people to see it and share.
