Today, being Sunday, we took a trip out in the car. We visitied our friends Martin and Janey and their boys Edward and Henry, who live in Wendover, near Aylesbury.
What a day to get out and about! It was filthy weather; the rain was belting down all day and we even had to make a detour due to the A10 being flooded! We arrived a bit late due to that and because we got a bit lost on the way. All was not lost, however, as we had such a warm welcome when we got to Martin's place that we forgot all about the terrible weather. Sam was the centre of attention all afternoon. Edward & Henry played with Sam and entertained him, and Janey couldn't put Sam down! You know, I think Sam enjoyed the attention.
A big 'thank you' to M, J, E & H for a lovely afternoon of fun and great lasagne. It was a shame we couldn't get out for a walk. Next time !
